Author Guidelines

Authors wishing to submit manuscripts must comply with the formal guidelines set out below. Failure to comply with these guidelines will constitute sufficient grounds for the rejection of the manuscript. Submissions must address topics related to the didactics of translation or interpreting. Manuscripts must be original and previously unpublished. Spanish and English are accepted as languages of submission. The authors bear sole responsibility for the content of their work. All submissions are subject to review and editing.

Submission of Manuscripts

- Authors must submit their original work in electronic format through the journal’s platform. Two versions of the manuscript must be uploaded: one including the author’s/ authors’ name(s) and one anonymised version. The anonymised version must remove any information that could identify the authorship of the manuscript, including names, institutional affiliations, acknowledgements, and explicit references to the authors’ own work that may reveal their identity. In addition, first-person expressions that could disclose authorship should be avoided, and all file metadata must be removed.

- Submissions must be accompanied by an abstract of approximately 150–250 words and a maximum of five relevant keywords. Articles written in Spanish must also include the abstract and keywords in English.

- Authors are encouraged to use inclusive language, while maintaining clarity and academic precision.

-  Authors must declare any conflicts of interest, whether financial or otherwise, that could influence the preparation or interpretation of the work. In the absence of such conflicts, this should be explicitly stated.

Formatting

- Manuscripts must be submitted in an editable format, preferably Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) or equivalent formats.

- Use margins of 2.5 cm (top and bottom) and 3 cm (left and right), Times New Roman font, size 12, 1.5 line spacing, and fully justified text. Words should not be hyphenated at the end of a line.

- The title should be presented in bold. Below the title, indicate the author’s/ authors’ name(s), institutional affiliation, and ORCID identifier.

- Pages should be numbered consecutively, with page numbers placed in the footer and aligned to the right.

- The use of italics should be limited to highlighting words or expressions on an occasional basis; the use of bold and underlining in the body of the text should be avoided.

- Figures, tables, and their corresponding titles or captions must be inserted in the appropriate place within the text and not at the end of the document.

- The total length of articles should not exceed 8,000 words (approximately 20 pages), excluding references. The abstract and keywords are not included in this count. If a longer manuscript is required, authors are advised to consult the editor in advance.

- Citations and references must follow APA style (7th edition). For guidance, please consult the official manual: https://apastyle.apa.org/
