The ghosts of the past. The universal history of Human Rights and violence in Pinochet’s Chile

This article analyses the evolution of universal implementation of human rights in the world, as the violation and defense in Chile. To that end, we study the policies undertaken by the states during the contemporary age. That is, on the one hand, attempts to defend citizens against oppression of traditional classes and other attempts to expand its defense during this period, especially discusses what happened in Chile during the military dictatorship.
