Here we expose the results from an archaeological prospection methodologically elaborated in the east sector of the "Depresión de Colmenar" as part of a research project carried out by the Prehistory Department of the University of Malaga on the subject "The transit from the Copper to the Bronze Age on the way from Sierra Gorda to Malaga´ s Bay".
During this intesive prospection eight sites belonging to the Copper Age have been found, one from the classical period and four others from the Medieval epoch; the results of the aditional selective prospection, until the final quadrant was obtained, has added to the above mentioned results four Copper Age sites and one of them from the Classical period. In the text only those from the Copper Age are descripted which is the objective of the above mentioned project.
