Burned churches in Velez-Malaga during the Moorish rebellion of 1568

The historians of the Moorish uprising of 1568 usually centre on the events that took place in the Alpujarras, this narrating with lees detail what happened in the historic of Málaga in spite of the fact that 20 churches were burned there. This paper tries to establish wath relationship between the clergy and the Moorish were to reach these extremes.
