The Trent Council drove forward the foundation of institutions geared to the education of future Priests, giving total authority to the Bishops of the respective dioceses. As far as Malaga is concerned the establishing and building of its Seminary School took place at the end of the 16th century, even though their first. Constitutions date from 1604. Such legislation which was an advance with respect to another and more extensive one already in mind, gives us full details and information over matters that were to be regulated in that institution under the mandate of Juan Alonso de Moscoso.
