ABSTRACT
During the biennium 1520-1521 almost none of the regions of Castile was completely free from agitations and disturbances, the so-called the rebelion of the «Comunidades». Everywhere, similar grounds caused uneasiness and unrest with different intesity. The peninsular south remained relatively calm, in spite of the constant pressure suffered by the rebels. This way Málaga, even staying loyal to the Crown, didn't play a decisive part in the Cordovan Meeting of La Rambla.
