In Europe’s recent history, a great part of the countries of our environment have used development policies in favour of the more backward regions. Under Franco, Spain designed its general economic strategy and especially its development one according to the political influences that came from Europe. This was achieved firstly through plans of provincial development, and subsequently by means of Plans of National Development clearly influenced by France and which coincided with the arrival to government of the so called technocrats. The Plan of Social and Economic Development of the province of Malaga arose within these two periods, and soon was being absorbed by the 1964 First Development Plan. Despite of this fact, many and very important consequences were born of the Malaga Plan.Downloads
