Aproximación a los escribanos reales de Málaga a comienzos del siglo XIX: pervivencia de un conflicto secular

Los escribanos reales representaban un colectivo con atribuciones profesionales limitadas
y que tenía que hacer frente a continuos conflictos con otras categorías notariales, además de la
competencia que se generaba entre ellos mismos. Esta problemática situación, inalterable a lo
largo de los siglos, persistía a comienzos del XIX, como se pone de manifiesto con motivo de
la habilitación de tres nuevos escribanos de los Reinos.
The real notary publics represented a group with limited professional attributions. They
had to put up with continuous conflicts with other notarial categories, besides the competition
generated between themselves. This problematic situation, unchanged for ages, persisted at the
beginning of the 19th century, what is shown with the fact of being appointed three new notary
publics in the Kingdoms.
