Historians find useful summaries which shorten larger studies that provide a great amount of content. Reflecting about my publication, that addresses the challenges of our democratic society through observation of social and cultural aspects, I have the opportunity to relocate the main references to general historiographical considerations. Therefore, this brief presentation of our recent historiography, far from dealing with the whole of it, provides the historiographical context where sociocultural research can be framed.Downloads
