ABSTRACT: This paper studies various problems linked with the hypothetical reconstruction of the library of Francisco de Quevedo. It is based on the inventories made after the death of the writer, both of his own books and of those of the 7th Duque de Medinaceli. We use, as well, the indexes of the library of Monasterio de San Martín, in Madrid. Furthermore, we give information about a new set of printed copies of Quevedo’s bibliographic collection.
