European Journal of Family Business (formerly Revista de Empresa Familiar) is an open access, peer-reviewed journal published half-yearly. The journal publishes research papers in the field of family-controlled enterprise since 2011.
Authors are encouraged to submit complete unpublished and original works, which are not under review in any other journals. The scopes of the journal include, but are not limited to, the following topic areas: Succession, Governance, Organization Theory, Culture, SMEs, Marketing, Internationalization and Globalization, Gender and ethnicity, CRS and Ethics, Productions Management, Human resources.

This is an open access journal: all articles will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download. EJFB is free of charge for both readers and authors. The print version is freely distributed to libraries, institutions or professionals related to the objectives of the journal.
EJFB aims to improve the collaboration with managers and practitioners, who will be involved in the review process together with the academics. EJFB has the purpose to advance in the understanding of European family entreprises and all family business around the world.
Our aim is to make a step forward to bridge the gap between research and practice on family business, acknowledging the different perspectives and approaches adopted by academics and practitioners.
