Ferréz arrives in Spain in 2006 with the publication of the novel Practical Manual of Hatred, becoming a representative author of one of the great literary happenings of Brazil in the 21st century, the new marginal literature. We analyse how the translation process of his work affects the literary (re)significance of this aesthetic and the loss of its testimonial and political force, which is revealed through its slangy, colloquial and original language, as a distinctive feature impossible to ignore.
