Abstract

Taking advantage of the imminent appearance on the big screen of the Marvel Comics character, Adam Warlock, this paper aims to briefly explore the usefulness of the stories of this character in the stage published in the first half of the 70s, in relation to the teaching of Social Sciences. Through an allegorical tour of the public life of Jesus Christ, the publication introduced different political, cultural, social, historical, religious, artistic, and ethical aspects, evidencing a potential for use as a pedagogical tool for learning key concepts and complex topics. in these fields, particularly those related to the ancient, classical and biblical world, in a motivating, visual and attractive way for students.
