This article presents an annotated bibliography for the preparation and the teaching of ab initio Latin courses aimed at the students’ development of reading comprehension skills of Latin textual sources, within degree programmes other than Classics. The titles compiled here have been classifi ed into the following sections: (1) grammar, (2) extralinguistic matters, (3) texts in various formats, (4) a selection of classical texts. This document thus falls within the field of teaching classical languages. It is worth specifying that this paper does not present a critical essay,
an updated literature review, an ensemble of critical reviews, a syllabus for a given course, or a critical essay on the subject matter of methodologies. This document has a practical purpose and is strictly aimed at the preparation and the teaching of Latin courses.
