College sports, as a cornerstone of student training, in its essence, develops physical, technical, and psychological capabilities from its formative aspect and provides continuity to those who practice high performance. Also, the inclusion of this activity in universities is the bastion promotor of intellect, values, attitudes, aptitudes, and social responsibility. However, the combination of study with sports practice is complicated in its management when facing certain problems, challenges, and factors that are usually an obstacle for athletes, which requires more efficient sports management. Therefore, this work aims to determine the key factors of success that need to be addressed in college sports management through a qualitative analysis of athletes, coaches, and administrative staff that results in ten key success factors where athlete attention and support stand out.
