Abstract

The aim of this article is to review the literature published on WoS databases indexed journals. Until 2020, inclusive, 149 articles were found, most of them, 88.59%, published in the two decades of the 21st century, in 86 different scientific journals. A total of 140 first signer authors were identified (74 women and 66 men). The ratio of signing authors per document has been increasing until it stabilized at an average of 4.20 signatures per article. The institutions represented by the first authors add up to 111. The analysis of the study disciplines reveals the multidisciplinary nature of the topic, highlighting Physiology, Transportation, Medicine, Performance, and Theory and History.
