The aim of this paper is to underline the political dimension of the concept of common sense in Gilles Deleuze’s philosophy, pointing out its transformations from Difference and Repetition (1968) to his texts from the ‘80s. We will show that common sense implies an implicit presence of the community in the exercise of the faculties, and track its Kantian roots in order to reveal the community implicit in the sensus communis as a «majoritarian» community, relative to a model unlike the real becomings.
