Miguel de Unamuno y su ética universitaria

This paper aims to tackle the university ethic of Miguel de Unamuno. For this purpose, first of all, the criticism he made of his contemporary Spanish university is analysed and, thereafter, the figure of the university professor is studied. Thus, the characteristics, values and objective that every university education must acquire are presented. Finally, the direct influence of Francisco Giner de los Ríos in the unamunian university ethic is shown.
