Art and Reality: Reasons for the Pragmatization of the Artistic Operation
Keywords:
art's pragmatization, invisible art, public art, art operativityAbstract
This article set out the relationship art-reality from the point of view of the analysis of the operational reasons of artistic actions that support their existence in the denial of their recognizability as distinguished objects from the rest of the visual manifestations in the public space. These reasons come to question some of the criteria of artistry given by the modern tradition, and they just do it, in order to display a kind of aesthetic experience given by the formativity that they involve in the eye of the stroller in the city (or of the tv viewer), displacing the traditional figure of the spectator towards a deconstructor subject of the managemet codes of the collective imaginary typical of mass media. It’s this sense of the operation the one that we want to encode in this article as a reason of the art’s pragmatization.
