Abstract

This article addresses the living conditions in isolation departments and closed prisons from the perspective of prisoners. This approach contains limitations and at the same time implies an essential contribution to the ethical and legal debate that must be raised in the face of the restrictive regulations and structural conditions for serving the prison sentence that call into question respect for human rights.
