The historical review of the editions of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glasspublished Spain in the different languages spoken in the country since the first appearance of Alice in Wonderland in 1914 offers an unexpected marker of much broader editorial, political and cultural trends and dynamics. The mere chronology of the editions and the different languages offers a reflection of historical events over more than a century and shows cultural trends and uses of the children's and young people's literature.Downloads
