Abstract

The purpose of this talk is to present the experience of the gatherings which are being held since 2016 in Madrid in order to practice ancient Greek - the language to be used for most of the talk. First, the origin of this project (????????? ????????
?? ?? ???????) will be presented in the context of other activities of similar targets and nature. Then, the peculiar traits of these gatherings will be explained, as well as how we seek the involvement of the participants through the co-organization of different kinds of exercises to help them improve their knowledge of ancient Greek in an enjoyable way. Finally, data will be shown about the four gatherings which have already taken place, about the progress which has been done, as well as our plans for the future of this project, which is open to anyone interested in practicing and better knowing the language, either for a better teaching or for a different reason.
