Abstract

This work studies the presence of classical mythology in the decoration of the gardens and the neoclassical palace of Martí-Codolar, a farm located in the current Hebrón Valley and begun to be built in 1824 by an Italian architect for the merchant Isidro Inglada. Of the mansion we highlight the façade, full of allusions to Hercules. And from the gardens, some sculptures of the Trojan cycle, such as Diomedes with
Palladium or Agamemnon, strange to the Spanish environment, and mythological reliefs, such as Apollo and Daphne.
