This study analyzes the interest in physical-sport activity and related habits among individuals with chronic and rare genetic diseases. A total of 70 patients (80% women), aged between 18 and 74, participated in the study—47 with chronic illnesses and 23 with rare diseases. A 25-item questionnaire was used, based on key adherence factors identified by Buscemi et al. (2023). Among respondents, 74.3% reported engaging in regular physical activity, and 88.6% stated they were aware of its benefits. Additionally, 95.7% believed that physical activity services should be offered by hospitals. The most frequently practiced activities were yoga/pilates, walking, swimming, and hiking, indicating a wide range of interests. Participants valued programs lasting between 1 and 4 hours per week, costing less than €30 per month, adapted and individualized, led by qualified professionals, and avoiding high-impact activities.
