The objective of this study was to identify which were the technical indicators that influenced on the team's performance in the 2019 Women's Soccer World Cup France. Technical indicators data (defensive and offensive) of 52 games played were analyzed. Through a Principal Component Analysis (PCA), the most representative indicators were identified to determine performance. Multiple regressions showed that the points achieved was explained by 22% by the ball possession and shots on target performed, while the ranking position was explained by 27% by the ball possession and shots off target received. T-Student tests for independent groups found differences between the semifinalist teams and the rest of the teams. In conclusion, the most influential technical indicators on sports performance were ball possession, shots on target and corner kicks.
