Una filosofía de la naturaleza contracorriente y antisistema

Resumen: Este artículo subraya en primer lugar el contraste entre el tipo de reflexión que ofrece el libro Los sótanos del universo y el papel que suele asignarse a la filosofía en nuestro tiempo. Señala que en él se realiza de una filosofía de la naturaleza que evita los peligros alternativos del mero historicismo y del sistematismo. Finalmente; subraya la apuesta del autor por lo que él denomina una “epistemología del riesgo”: un modo de hacer filosofía en el que se aspira a aportar luz sin zanjar definitivamente los asuntos tratados.

Abstract: Firstly; this paper highlights the contrast between the kind of reflection provided by the book Los sótanos del universo and the role usually assigned to philosophy in our time. The paper points out that this book provides a natural philosophy that avoid the alternative dangers of mere historicism and systematicism. Finally; the paper stresses the option of the author of the book for what he calls an “epistemology of risk”: a way of doing philosophy which aims to shed light without settling definitively the matters.
