Abstract

The Nietzschean conception of the human being, which experiences different stages throughout his work, has a big influence in present times. Man is not an individual but part of an existential continuum; the product of forces he cannot control and that are different from him. He is not a person. This particular conception derives from the absence of an authentic metaphysics.
