Prudence is placed among the virtues, each one understood as ordo amoris. We then state that, also within the family, this virtue must first consider the positive aspects of reality, precisely because they are the most “real.” After that, we study the principal manifestations of prudence in marriage and in the education of the children. And finally, we point out that, when elevated by supernatural grace, prudence can “transform” itself into what people might consider madness.
