In this article I will broach a general aspect of the strawsonian proposal of “person”, as means to explain about possession of experience by subjects. Then I will rebuild the No-Ownership model of the self (TNP), from Strawson’s parameters as given in Individuals, which aims to explain the fact that persons have experiences, based essentially, in the purely contingent role of the body, without the need of a subject of experiences. The last section will be about Strawson’s critiques to the TNP, which state –seemingly– that the TNP can’t be aware its own proposal. Finally I’ll briefly revise a stance about the plausibility of TNP and if this stance is possible.
