Clement of Alexandria offers to us, in his book The Pedagogue, the first formulation of Christ as The Common Good. In this paper is analyzed the cultural heritage of which Clement is a debtor and how he improves it with his Christian faith; then is an analysis of how he considers Christ as The Common Good and how He leads us towards the edification and flourishing of the temporal and spiritual common goods, and finally, it is mentioned which is the ultimate purpose, for whom it is and which actions should be developed to cultivate the temporal common good.
