Resumen

Este ensayo lee a Simone de Beauvoir junto con Friedrich Nietzsche sobre convertirse en mujer. Basándose en la mitología, tal como lo hace de Beauvoir en El segundo sexo, se pueden establecer conexiones con Georges Bataille pero también con el propio compromiso de Sarah Kofman con el Ecce Homo de Nietzsche. La muerte y la limitación son parte de las propias reflexiones de Nietzsche sobre él y corresponden a lo que de Beauvoir destaca en términos de "misterios, orgías y bacanales", además del "frenesí sagrado" y la conjunción del matrimonio y los relámpagos.
