Este relato es pieza fundamental para analizar la tradición medieval en los cuentos de Rubén Darío, así como el código artístico que el autor usará durante toda su carrera como escritor.
ABSTRACT: Analysis of the short story “by the banks of the rhine” by Rubén Darío, included in his modernist book blue (1888). This short story is essential to analyze the medieval tradition in the stories of Rubén Darío, and to understand the artistic code that the author used throughout his career as a writer.
