Polen, Citrus, Fortunella
SUMMARY. Pollen morphology of cultivated citric species in Andalucia occidental (Spain). The pollen morphology of six species belonging to the genera Citrus (C. aurantium, C. deliciosa, C. grandis, C. limon y C. sinensis) and Fortunella (F. margarita), has been studied with light and scanning electron microscopy. The pollen morphology is described basing in the characters studied (polarity, simmetry, outline in equatorial and polar views, size, apertural system (number, size, and apertures kinds), exine thick and ornamentation) and the results are discussed. The differentiation between the genera was not possible, but it was so among some Citrus species.
Key words. Pollen, Citrus, Fortunella
