Abstract

Viruses in general, and SARS viruses in particular, are studied in medical schools and treated routinely in hospitals. Until 2020, no special attention was paid to them at the University and the University Hospitals of Seville. In the context of the new concept of Global Health (which involves all living beings on the planet) and a very safe and highly protocolized health system, the medical management of Covid 19 is slower than the spread of the harmful agent. In this situation, and until the population has been vaccinated, the fight against the disease is based on traditional methods of hygiene and isolation.
