The Ancient Greek Language in Context is a manual conceived from didactic experience in Baccalaureate classes. It seeks to facilitate the early stages of learning classical Greek according to two fundamental aspects. On one hand, it off ers teachers a very guided approach to the active and inductive-contextual methodology, accessible and simple for those considering the change from the grammar and translation method, and useful for those who have already started in the active method. It provides a solid base of grammatical content and vocabulary that makes it possible to link fluidity, comfort and greater guarantees of success with other manuals, which do not begin in such a thorough manner. On the other hand, it offers students a comprehensive reading experience from the very beginning, with a narrative text, defined characters and practice exercises that start from the most elementary in an orderly, systematic and
rigorous way while being accessible, enjoyable and gradual. The aim is to maintain trust, security and interest at all times, which are so important in the education process. Both teachers and self-taught students have the same objective for our pupils: a pleasant way of learning, teaching and adapting methodology, properly structured, which allows us to maintain and foster enthusiasm for reading the Greek language.
