About the Journal

The Thamyris magazine, nova series, which took over from the old Thamyris journal, which was published on paper, began its journey in 2010 as an exclusively electronic journal. Its objective is to make an instrument available to Secondary School and Baccalaureate teachers so that they can publicize the innovative didactic experiences that they carry out in their classes. Along with this commitment to the didactics of Classical subjects, Thamyris is also committed to the dissemination of content from the classical world, since the dissemination and transfer of content related to our subjects among a non-specialist public is as important as didactic research. . Likewise, our journal supports the effort that associations such as Classical Culture are carrying out in defense of the active teaching of classical Greek and Latin. Hence, some of its issues have published papers presented at the Novae Viae meetings.
