Actividades de alta intensidad en la Copa del Mundo de Fútbol de 2018

Resumen

El propósito del presente estudio fue analizar las diferencias en las actividades de alta intensidad entre los equipos mejores y peores de la Copa del Mundo de Fútbol de 2018. Se analizó la distancia recorrida a velocidades de 20-25 km/h, mayores de 25 km/h, la velocidad máxima y el número de sprints. No hubo diferencias significativas entre grupos excepto en la velocidad máxima en los cuartos de final, lo que indica que, en equipos de élite, el éxito del partido depende principalmente de las estrategias tácticas y técnicas. Sin embargo, la mayoría de las actividades de alta intensidad fueron mayores en el grupo de los mejores, especialmente en cuartos de final y en semifinales, lo que sugiere que la velocidad máxima y la distancia recorrida a más de 25 km/k puede jugar también un papel importante, especialmente con niveles de fatiga no muy altos.
