The intention of this study is to investigate if the use of the grip with Velcro fasteners, increases the effectiveness of volleying in padel tennis.
A total of five people (5 males) with an average age of 22,8 ± 0,84 years, were recruited to take part voluntarily in this quasi-experimental study. The election of the sample was intentional, according to the inclusion criterions. All the sample took part of adaptational lessons as well as the “Effectiveness test of volleying in padel tennis” with and without the grip.
The results obtained show us that the sample had better results of effectiveness when using the grip with Velcro fasteners (p<0,01). Due to these results, we conclude that using the grip with Velcro fasteners is more effective for volleying in padel tennis than using the random grip.
