Influence of anthropometric variables on jumping power after an active recovery session in young honduras footballers

fatigue, active recovery, jumping power, muscle pain and body compositionAbstract
The anthropometric variables could influence the recovery, and this fact would be interesting for the control of fatigue-recovery by the coaches. 21 professional players of the Honduras national league participated in the study (18 ± 0 years an BMI: 23.3 ± 2.2 kg·m-2). The anthropometric profile was characterized, were measured the vertical, jump power and perceived muscle pain as recovery indicators. was found an increase in jump power (pre-session= 986 ± 163 and post-session= 1054 ± 158) and perception of muscle pain (pre-session= 1.11 ± 1.96 and post-session= 2.32 ± 1.20). The waist, muscle mass and corrected arm perimeter correlated with jumping power. The control of anthropometric variables and body composition in young people is important because they could influence the jump power after an active recovery session.Downloads
