Indicadores técnicos que influyeron sobre el rendimiento deportivo de los equipos en el mundial femenino 2019

El objetivo de este estudio fue identificar cuáles fueron los indicadores técnicos que influyeron en el rendimiento de los equipos en la copa mundial de fútbol femenino Francia 2019. Se analizaron los indicadores técnicos registrados (defensivos y ofensivos) de los 52 partidos jugados. Mediante un Análisis de Componentes Principales (PCA) se identificaron los indicadores más representativos para determinar el rendimiento. Regresiones múltiples mostraron que la cantidad de puntos logrados fue explicada en un 22% por la posesión de balón y remates directos a marco realizados, mientras que el lugar ocupado en el ranking fue explicado en un 27% por la posesión de balón y los remates desviados recibidos. Las pruebas t-Student para grupos independientes encontraron diferencias entre los equipos semifinalistas y el resto de los equipos. En conclusión, los indicadores técnicos más influyentes en el rendimiento deportivo fueron la posesión de balón, los remates directos y los tiros de esquina.
