Abstract

The training of the student in competences is the basic objective of the university studies in the European Higher Education Area. After referring, in a general way, what is meant by competence and which are the general competences and the specific ones of the degree in Law, we develop a concrete teaching technique within the framework of the teaching of the History of Law, i.e., the preparation and presentation of topics by teams of students in different phases, detailing the competences that can be acquired by the students and the specific role of the lecturer.
