Abstract

Interest to promote the quality of teaching activities in the universities has materialised in different mechanisms of evaluation. Among those created in recent years we must mention the DOCENTIA program, whose development requires the involvement of three agents: universities, regional agencies and the Nacional Agency (ANECA). We analyze the legal régimen of these mechanisms, with particular reference to the Andalusian Framework for Evaluation and the relation between these evaluation procedures and the moving up in their profesional career planned for university professors in the new Teaching and Research Staff Statute.
