Abstract

The case method is a teaching-learning that let encourage the development of certain abilities and skills associated with critical thinking. The acquisition of skills such as reflection, argumentation, problem solving ability, self-criticism and communication are the key to the learning process. We all Know that reproduction of knowledge is not guarantee of a speedy entry into the laboral market, so it’s essential to train our students in other skills that are necessary for their personal and professional development. This is the main raison that led us to use the case method in teaching a subject of law, corresponding to the Degree in Tourism. In this paper account the experience we have conducted with several groups of students in the first to try to encourage their critical spirit, exposing both the development of the experience and its results.
