Abstract

The volume Teaching and Research in the Age of Artificial Intelligence brings together nineteen chapters that examine how AI is reshaping both teaching and academic research. The book combines conceptual reflections with empirical studies and practical experiences across different educational levels. It also gathers students’ and lecturers’ perceptions, marked by a mix of interest, caution and ethical concerns. The chapters devoted to generative AI showcase diverse applications, ranging from creative writing to engineering and media literacy. Taken as a whole, it offers a broad and balanced view of a phenomenon that is already part of everyday university life.
