Sobre la punitividad: Hacia una agenda de investigación sobre los cambios en el clima penal

Resumen

De la misma forma que ha sucedido en múltiples países del norte global, la tasa de encarcelamiento lleva descendiendo en España desde hace casi tres lustros. Esta circunstancia, junto con el descenso sostenido de las tasas de criminalidad, la disminución de la preocupación por el delito y el interés menguante de los partidos políticos por las cuestiones del delito y el castigo ha generado una moderación gradual del clima penal. El presente artículo indaga este cambio político-criminal proponiendo una agenda de investigación para su análisis, como contribución al desarrollo de una penología comparada que analice la etapa posterior al giro punitivo.
