.Abstract
A study with OM and SEM of the fruits of the Iberian species and subspecies of Lavandula L. genus is carried out. Special reference is made about its morphology, size and ornamentation.The 11 taxa studied are clustered into 5 carpologic groups which basically correspond with the arrangement of this genus in sections.
