Taxonomic notes about genus Ononis L. (Fabaceae) for the Morocco flora. Two new species of Ononis from the northwest of Morocco are described: O. cuatrecasasii and O. gines-lopezii. The taxonomic validity of O. jahandiezit Maire & Weiller is verified. A dichotomic key for the segregation of O. penduliflora within the O. pendula complex is given.
