We have studied some aspects related to factors that affect germination in five iberian endemisms: Armeria linkiana Nieto Feliner, Digitalis mariana subsp. heywoodiiP. & M.Silva, Lavandula stoechassubsp. luisieri(Rozeira) Rozeira, Lavandula stoechassubsp. sampaiana Rozeira and Sanguisorba hybrida (L.)Nordborg. We have analyzed the effect of hydrogen peroxide, acetone and sulphuric acid as chemical scarifiers, as well as the influence of light on germination.
