In this work, the Pinus pollen aerobiology in the atmosphere of Ourense city during 1993- 1999, sampled by means of a volumetric spore-trap (Lanzoni VPPS 2000), are showed. This pollinic type represent the highest percentage of the annual pollen count, only percentage of Poaceae was highest during some years. The interannual variation is caracterizated by the continuous observation of pollen grains along all the year and the annual counts are variable. The variations in the total pollen counts are motivated by the rain during the spring and the temperatures during the main pollination season. The mean for the duration of the Main Pollination Period is 69 days. The highest values are recording during the second half of march, except 1996 and 1999, and the mean of the maximum values was 429 grains/m 3 . The correlation obtained between daily airborne Pinta pollen counts and the differents meteorological parameters show that, in Ourense, this pollen is negatively correlated with the rain and positively with the temperatures during the main pollination period.
