ABSTRACT. On the record of Gagea lacaitae A. Terracc. (Liliaceae), in the Valencian flora (Spain). We noticed a new site for Gagea lacaitae A. Terracc. from the inland part of the province of Valencia (Spain). This is currently the second reference for the Valencian Community , as well as one of the Northernmost site for the species in the Iberian peninsula. In order to stand out the species from others showing more taxonomical affinity, a fine morphological description of the individuals found in this new population is provided; we also add a synthetic table holding data on the most important diagnostic characters, built up after the data noticed in the herbarium vouchers and the specifical bibliography. In addition, we also enclose information on the ecological behaviour of this species, as well as its conservation status in the Valencian Community.
Key words: Liliaceae, Gagea, Valencian Province, Spain.
